This ministry is dedicated to providing pastoral counseling, prayer, comfort, and healing to God's precious lambs who have been bruised by life's storms. It is my heart to be a vessel through which the Holy Spirit can flow like refreshing waters to those who feel empty and drained. It is my fervent desire that the brokenhearted, the lonely, and the weary will realize their awesome inheritance in Christ. I love to lead others into God's shining grace, freeing them to bloom like sunflowers in His glorious garden.

Many times God has utilized the natural world to reveal truth to me. When I was sensing that God had a new name for the ministry, God used a sunflower with many blossoms. It is featured on this page.
Here is my story:

One sunny September morning in 1996, through my bedroom window, I noticed a sunflower different from all the others. Instead of one huge flower, I saw a bouquet of golden blooms coming from many stems that were melded together as one and nourished from the same root system. It was standing tall, like a strong sentry over my squash and tomatoes. Adding to its uniqueness was the fact that its seed hadn't been planted by human hands. A little later, I attempted to count the flowering heads, but stopped after discovering thirty; instead, I photographed the phenomenal plant to document my unusual find.

God impressed upon my heart that He was blowing a fresh wind of new beginnings upon me. I interpreted my miracle flower to be a symbol of God's increase upon the ministry. From that point on, I knew God would knit me together with many others who would stand tenderly beside me. Rooted in God's love, we would grow and glow in a well-watered garden as testimonies of His care. After this revelation, I felt inspired to change the name of the ministry from "Well of Bethlehem" to "Garden of Grace". I welcomed all that it spiritually symbolized.
